4. WINNER SELECTION AND NOTIFICATION. There will be one grand prize winner selected by random drawing out of all eligible entries.

If a resident of Canada is selected as a winner, they will be required to correctly answer, without assistance of any kind, whether mechanical or otherwise, a timed, mathematical skill-testing question, to be administered by South African Airways either by mail, telephone, e-mail, or fax (at its sole discretion) before the awarding of the prize.

The potential winner will be notified by email. In the event that a potential winner cannot be contacted, does not respond within three (3) days from the date the Sponsor first tries to notify him/her, and/or the prize or prize notification is returned as undeliverable, as well as when a potential winner is disqualified for any reason, such potential winner forfeits all rights to win the Promotion or receive the prize, and an alternate potential winner will be selected out of all remaining entries.

Each passenger will be responsible for applicable travel taxes and fuel surcharges. Once issued, prize letters and tickets are non-transferable. Once ticketed, standard change and cancellation penalties apply.

Total Approximate Retail Value of the grand prize: 3,200 USD.
